And inside my house its 91 degrees. No clue what the heat index is but I would guess its up around 94 or 95.
Yes, once again our piece of shit, low bid air conditioning system is dying. It's been over a 100 degrees for almost two weeks now. The AC has struggled every afternoon and today it gave up.
It's time to move.
And anyone who doesn't believe in climate change? Come move to Central Texas and watch the desertification take place before your eyes.

You're telling me. We haven't had any rain to speak of in what seems like a couple of years. I think it must not have been that long surely, but I really can't remember when it rained last so it might as well be a couple years LOL.
I want rain so bad, and clouds... oh my, what I wouldn't give for a cloudy day. It has been so hot down here in south Texas, the heat index is over 100 every day. Luckily at least, we live in an apartment and if the AC goes out, maintenance has to fix it :D
That doesn't sound pleasant at all and what a bummer that air conditioner crapped out. It was hot here (in the 90s) all last week but today it was much cooler and tomorrow is only forecast to get in the 60s. I would love to send some of the cooler weather your way!
Today was such a welcome respite from the heat! Hooray! I loved the thunderstorms!
