14:35 minutes of glorious denunciation

Brought to you by Keith Olbermann:

Mr. Olbermann has managed to expound on this issue with more eloquence than I have.  The only thing I can add is this from Edmund Burke:

All that is required for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing.

If we give up this fight and allow the corporate shills and their mindless minions to prevail, we will have no one to blame but ourselves for the slow decent into hell that will be our reward. Keep calling, keep emailing, keep blogging. Nothing worth having comes easily.

This was very powerful.....we taped it, and we copied and sent it to a ton of family and friends, in case they didn't catch the show. I didn't post it as I knew it would be all over the net......thanks for putting it out there though, as it was just so right on!!!

I can't help but point out that the Nazis in the 1920s (yes, Godwin can smack me) used intimidation and broke up rival's meetings. That is what paved their way to power. There weren't even that many of them to begin with, and no one took them seriously, until it was too late.

Democracy is not about who can scream the loudest and drown out their opposition. Democracy is about protecting the minority from being run roughshod over by the majority.

These people would prefer to see our entire way of life fall apart, to see the country go down the drain, than to work toward something better with the people they disagree with.
